Founded Norman Behavioral Health Group in 2001 and currently serves as the practice’s owner/manager. He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK with a Bachelors degree in Psychology, from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS with a Masters and Education Specialist Degrees in Community Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, and completed his doctoral training at the University of Oklahoma with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2000. Dr. Martin has been licensed as a psychologist in Oklahoma since 2002, and a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1996. Dr. Martin has been providing psychological services for over 20 years and currently works with children, teenagers, and adults within the contexts of individual, couples, or family therapy dealing with a wide range of clinical issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting struggles, marital conflict, ADHD, autism, academic struggles, spiritual difficulties, or other behavioral concerns. He also works with individuals within the developmental disabilities community and supervises psychological technicians who work within the DDSD population in various parts of Oklahoma.
dr. Alan Ivy
Has worked at Norman Behavioral Health Group since 2006. He graduated from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO with a Bachelor of Biblical Literature with a Psychology major, from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, and completed his doctoral training at the University of Memphis with a PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2006. Dr. Ivy has been licensed as a psychologist in Oklahoma since 2007, as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2008, and became a Licensed Professional Counselor approved supervisor in 2011, currently supervising LPC candidates at NBHG working to complete their licensure requirements. Dr. Ivy works with children, teenagers, and adults within the contexts of individual, couples, or family therapy dealing with a wide range of clinical issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting struggles, marital conflict, ADHD, autism, academic struggles, spiritual difficulties, or other behavioral concerns. Lois Goodgame, M.S., LPC
Graduated from the University Of Central Oklahoma, in Edmond, OK, with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. She received her undergraduate degrees in areas of Behavioral Science and Secondary Education from Mid America Christian University, in Oklahoma City and Northern Caribbean University, respectively. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and an approved LPC supervisor for LPC candidates. She has over 10 years of experience in the field of counseling. Her experience includes a wide range of behavioral and emotional issues, including ADHD, Oppositional disorder, Anger management, Adjustment disorders, Relational problems, Depression, Anxiety and other mood disorders, as well as Domestic Violence, Morality and Ethics, and Substance Abuse education.
kristen bishop, m.A., lPC
Graduated from East Central University in Ada, OK with a Bachelors in Human Services Counseling (Services to the Deaf) in 2007 and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX with a Masters in Christian Counseling in 2011. Her experience includes working with children, teenagers, and adults through individual, couples, and family counseling sessions in a wide range of behavioral, relational, and emotional issues. Areas of interest include Christian counseling, spiritual difficulties, teen struggles, trauma, family relational concerns, foster/adoption concerns and adjustments, depression, grief, anxiety, marital and pre-marital counseling, communication skills, and parenting challenges. Kristen is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is certified as a Prepare/Enrich Marital Assessment Facilitator, is a Certified Family Trauma Professional (CFTP), and a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner.
Graduated from Central Christian College of Kansas in McPherson KS., with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies 2002. He obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from North American Baptist Seminary (Now Sioux Falls Seminary) in 2006, in Sioux Falls, SD. In 2008 he obtained his Master’s in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, CA. Jeremiah has worked in the mental health field for 10 years, and is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist. His areas of interest include: Individual, couples, and family counseling. He works with individuals, couples, and families on a variety of issues that include: marital therapy, pre-marital therapy, couples therapy, parenting issues, family issues, Christian counseling, vocational/career counseling, communication skills, depression, anxiety, stress management, PTSD, and many other emotional issues.
Graduated from Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City, OK with a Masters in Professional Counseling. Dustin has been working as a home-based therapist for the past two years with foster children and other families. He has received training in trauma-based therapeutic modalities including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and attachment-based play and family therapies such as Theraplay and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). Dustin’s main areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, grief, parenting, and early childhood related issues and attachment. Dustin has experience working with children, teens, and adults. Dustin’s areas of interest include neuropsychology and neurobiology, patterns of communication, mindfulness, and neurolinguistic programming.
