    With more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, Monica Perez is a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health care across the lifespan. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University.

    Monica brings over 17 years of experience as a registered nurse, having practiced in a wide range of clinical settings, including nursing homes, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric units, correctional facilities, and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). These diverse roles have provided her with a strong clinical foundation and a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health conditions across diverse populations and age groups. 

    In her role as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Monica delivers comprehensive, patient-centered psychiatric care, including thorough psychiatric evaluations, individualized evidence-based treatment planning, and safe, effective medication management. She is a strong collaborator who works closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, coordinated, and effective care. 

    Monica is recognized for her exceptional commitment to patient well-being, therapeutic rapport, and positive clinical outcomes. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Psychiatric Mental Health. Fluent in English and conversational Spanish, she is passionate about providing empathetic, culturally responsive care that fosters healing, resilience, and recovery.
