Our Interns, Candidates, & Post-Doctorals
We are a teaching-focused mental health practice committed to training the next generation of clinicians.
Session Rates by Training Level
As part of this mission, we offer reduced-fee services with advanced trainees under supervision. Session fees are based on the clinician’s level of training:
● Master’s Level Interns
● Doctoral Practicum Students
● Pre-Doctoral Interns
● Post-Doctoral Clinicians
● LPC Candidates
*Reduced fees are associated with training status.
Role of Interns and Trainees
Interns and trainees are graduate-level or doctoral-level clinicians completing required clinical training.
As part of their role, they:
● Provide therapy services
● Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
● Document sessions and participate in care coordination
They function as members of a supervised clinical team and do not practice independently.
Supervision
All clinical work completed by interns and trainees is supervised by a licensed clinician.
Supervision includes:
● Regular individual supervision
● Ongoing consultation
● Review of clinical work
● Group supervision
The supervising clinician maintains responsibility for client care.
Compliance with State Requirements
Services provided by interns and trainees follow applicable Oklahoma laws and regulations, including requirements for:
- Supervision
- Direct client contact as part of training
- Postgraduate supervised experience for licensure
