Dr. Bobby Martin, Ph.D

Dr. Bobby Martin founded Norman Behavioral Health Group in 2001 and currently serves as the practice's owner/manager. He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK with a Bachelors degree in Psychology, from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS with a Masters and Education Specialist Degrees in Community Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, and completed his doctoral training at the University of Oklahoma with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2000. Dr. Martin has been licensed as a psychologist in Oklahoma since 2002, and a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1996. Dr. Martin has been providing psychological services for over 20 years and is currently works with children, teenagers, and adults within the contexts of individual, couples, or family therapy dealing with a wide range of clinical issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting struggles, marital conflict, ADHD, autism, academic struggles, spiritual difficulties, or other behavioral concerns. He also works with individuals within the developmental disabilities community and supervises psychological technicians who work within the DDSD population in various parts of Oklahoma.
Dr. Alan Ivy has worked at Norman Behavioral Health Group since 2006. He graduated from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO with a Bachelor of Biblical Literature with a Psychology major, from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, and completed his doctoral training at the University of Memphis with a PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2006. Dr. Ivy has been licensed as a psychologist in Oklahoma since 2007, as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2008, and became a Licensed Professional Counselor approved supervisor in 2011, currently supervising LPC candidates at NBHG working to complete their licensure requirements. Dr. Ivy works with children, teenagers, and adults within the contexts of individual, couples, or family therapy dealing with a wide range of clinical issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting struggles, marital conflict, ADHD, autism, academic struggles, spiritual difficulties, or other behavioral concerns. He also works with individuals with developmental disabilities and supervises psychological technicians who work within the DDSD population in various parts of Oklahoma.

Dr. Taylor English, Ph.D

Dr. Taylor English joined Norman Behavioral Health Group in 2022. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas, Master’s in clinical psychology from Mississippi State University, and completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The University of Nebraska in 2021. Dr. English has completed two year-long experiences working at the Veterans’ Affairs Hospitals in Tampa, FL and Oklahoma City, OK working with Veterans experiencing trauma and substance use disorders. Dr. English enjoys working with adults and adolescents dealing with a wide variety of clinical issues, including depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, substance use, parenting, academic struggles, emotion regul ation, and behavioral concerns. Dr. English is familiar with various treatment modalities and approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Relapse Prevention, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma. In addition to individual therapy, Dr. English conducts psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults. These assessments can help clarify issues related to ADHD, Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Behavioral Issues, Emotional Disturbances, and many other concerns clients may have. 
Lois Goodgame graduated from the University Of Central Oklahoma, in Edmond, OK, with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. She received her undergraduate degrees in areas of Behavioral Science and Secondary Education from Mid America Christian University, in Oklahoma City and Northern Caribbean University, respectively. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and an approved LPC supervisor for LPC candidates. She has over 10 years of experience in the field of counseling. Her experience includes a wide range of behavioral and emotional issues, including ADHD, Oppositional Disorder, Anger management, Adjustment disorders, Relational problems, Depression, Anxiety and other mood disorders, as well as Domestic Violence, Morality and Ethics, and Substance Abuse education.

Kristen Bishop, M.A., LPC

Kristen Bishop, M.A., LPC graduated from East Central University in Ada, OK with a Bachelors in Human Services Counseling (Services to the Deaf) in 2007 and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX with a Masters in Christian Counseling in 2011. Her experience includes working with children, teenagers, and adults through individual, couples, and family counseling sessions in a wide range of behavioral, relational, and emotional issues. Areas of interest include Christian counseling, spiritual difficulties, teen struggles, trauma, family relational concerns, foster/adoption concerns and adjustments, depression, grief, anxiety, marital and pre-marital counseling, communication skills, and parenting challenges. Kristen is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is certified as a Prepare/Enrich Marital Assessment Facilitator as well as a Certified Family Trauma Professional.

Jeremiah Whitebird, M.A., LMFT

Jeremiah Whitebird, M.A., LMFT graduated from Central Christian College of Kansas in McPherson KS., with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies 2002. He obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from North American Baptist Seminary (Now Sioux Falls Seminary) in 2006, in Sioux Falls, SD. In 2008 he obtained his Master's in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, CA. Jeremiah has worked in the mental health field for 10 years and is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist. His areas of interest include Individual, couples, and family counseling. He works with individuals, couples, and families on a variety of issues that include: marital therapy, pre-marital therapy, couples therapy, parenting issues, family issues, Christian counseling, vocational/career coun seling, communication skills, depression, anxiety, stress management, PTSD, and many other emotional issues.

Carrie Critser, M.A., ATR, LPC

Carrie Critser graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, in Edwardsville, IL, with a Master of Arts in Art Therapy Counseling. She also graduated from the Anderson School of Theology in Anderson, IN, with a Master of Arts in Intercultural Service. She received her undergraduate degrees in the areas of Christian Ministries and Fine Arts from Anderson University in Anderson, IN. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Registered Art Therapist with the American Art Therapy Association. Carrie has over 4 years of experience in the field of counseling. Her experience includes working with children, teenagers, and adults in individual, group, and family counseling. Her areas of interest include using Christian counseling, Art Therapy, attachment-based play, and creative counseling techniques in addressing issues such as Developmental Disabilities, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anger Management, Emotion Regulation, Mood Disorders, Attachment Disorders, Parenting, Family Dynamics, and Developmental Trauma. Carrie possesses extensive multicultural experience and is committed to help children and families experience growth and healing in their lives. 

Cindy Owen, M.S., LPC

Cindy Owen graduated from Mid-America Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and Master of Science in Counseling. Cindy is experienced in working with intellectually disabled and developmentally disabled adults, anger management, anxiety, depression, sexual and domestic abuse and mood disorders. Cindy also works with children and adults going through a variety of life changes such as grief, loss, divorce, retirement, etc. Cindy and her husband live in Norman, OK together and they have six adult children. Cindy enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and various art projects.

Tim Martin, M.S., LPC

Tim Martin graduated from Cameron University, in Lawton Oklahoma, with a Master of Science Degree in Behavioral Science. Tim received his undergraduate degree in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. Tim is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has experience working with older children, teens, and adults in individual, family, and group counseling. His area of interests include working with clients that exhibit High Anxiety, Depression, Developmental Disabilities, Anger Management, Mood Disorders, Emotional Regulation, Parenting, Couples and other issues that affect the Family. Tim has worked for over 25 years with children and teens and their families in a multicultural environment that encouraged life growth and daily change. Tim loves to see people begin to move forward and heal from past and present situations that have them hurting or paralyzed in life.

 Stacy Pierce, M.Ed ., LPC, LADC

Stacy Pierce graduated from Oklahoma City University in Oklahoma City, OK with a Master of Education in Applied Behavioral Studies, Professional Counseling. Stacy received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK. Stacy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an approved LPC supervisor. She is also a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Stacy has been practicing for 14 years and has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families with mental health and substance abuse issues. Areas of interest for Stacy include working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, abuse, family conflict, substance use disorders, career difficulties, anger management, reentry and rehabilitation, divorce and separation, and domestic violence. Stacy is committed to meeting her clients in whatever season life finds them in and finding solutions to having a healthier, happier mindset.
